redmi 6 was launched. the Redmi 6 budget smartphone at Xiaomi's product event held on Tuesday in Beijing. It borrows design elements from the Redmi 6 but does not get a dual camera setup not does it sport a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. However, there are the same AI-driven Face Unlock capabilities on the Redmi 6A, including the Xiao Ai digital assistant.

Redmi 6A price in China has been set at CNY 599 (roughly Rs. 6,300) for the lone 2GB RAM/ 16GB inbuilt storage variant.

The Redmi has a 5.45-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio, Helio P22 processor, coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage. Redmi 6 also has dual 12MP+5MP rear camera. Redmi 6A has a 5.45-inches display with 18:9 aspect ratio, Helio A22 processor, 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. The clock speed of the processor is 2.0Ghz.
